What a Pool Costs Around Fort Smith
Most builders make you call to find out. Here are the numbers we would give you on the phone anyway.
Gunite

Concrete, built in your yard, in whatever shape you want. Every one is drawn for the space it goes in, so the number moves with the design.
What Moves It
- The shape and the size. Every curve and every extra foot is more steel, more concrete and more surface to finish.
- How deep it goes. A deeper end means a bigger dig, a bigger shell and more water to keep.
- What gets built into it. Tanning ledges, benches, bubblers, a grotto, an attached spa. They are part of the shell, so they are priced in early.
- The interior finish. Plaster, pebble and tile are a real spread, and the one you pick changes the look and the number.
Fiberglass

A finished shell, set in the ground by a crane. Where it lands depends on the model and the size, and a bigger fiberglass build can run close to a gunite pool the same size.
What Moves It
- Which model and which length. The shell is the single biggest line, and the lineup runs from sixteen feet to forty.
- How we get it back there. When there is no way around the side we crane it over the house, and that setup is part of the number.
- How much concrete goes around it. Four feet comes standard, and a bigger patio costs more.
- What you add around it. A heater, extra lighting, water features, a spa alongside it.
Neither one is the cheap option. They are two different ways to build, and the right one depends on your yard and how you want to use it.

Your Yard
Slope, soil, and how easy it is to get equipment back there. This is the one nobody thinks about until we walk it.
The Deck
Four feet of concrete around the pool comes standard. More patio than that costs more.
Permits and Electrical
The permit is what it is. A licensed electrician has to do the hookup, because state law says so.
